Lift Academy for youth 9-16 years old
What is Lift Academy?
This is an enrolled program for youth aged 9-16 that starts on October 1st, 2018 and ends on December 13, 2018 that progresses through the fundamentals of;
1. Weight Training
Hypertrophy, Power and Strength - body weight, powerlifting, olympic lifting and bodybuilding movements
2. Agility, Speed and Balance
Foot drills, Activation of Core and Obstacle Course
3. Mobility - Myofascial Release, Stretching, Activation and Stabilization of joints
Focus on proper movement for hips and shoulders
All focusing on form, tempo and what muscle they are using. Each day we will have all 3 components above, included in the day, with a focus on leg Conditioning, pushing movements, or pulling movements.
Who attends Lift Academy?
Lift Academy is attended by both boys and girls aged 9-16 who are looking to improve their physical literacy, learn the fundamentals so they are less likely to be injured and build age appropriate skills to help them move & feel better!
Whether your child is in hockey, baseball, swimming, dance or no sport at all - Lift Academy is a program that will support them life long.
Athletes may choose to attend once or twice per week between the available days
When & where does Lift Academy take place?
Lift Academy takes place at F3FIT 667 Victoria Street, next to Lizzie Bits.
There are 4 classes a week to choose from and you do not have to come to the same time each week, but you do have to book your class in advance and attend weekly, or twice weekly.
Monday & Wednesday 3:10pm
Tuesday & Thursday 4pm
1 session a week is $192+ tax for 3 months
2 sessions a week is $288+ tax for 3 months
If you have an existing punch card, we can transfer any remaining balance into the enrolled session.
Each week we LEARN something new, BUILD on existing skills and keep working on those skills so we can IMPROVE!
